寒い夜はパソコンを炊く

３月になったけど、少し寒い。
というわけで、暖房がわりに、パソコンに火を入れる。
・・・買ったけど、ほとんど使ってないHP ProLiant ML115 G5[E:coldsweats01]
あ、ML110 G5もほとんど使ってません。実家に置いてあります。[E:coldsweats01]
そういえば、どちらもFreeBSDをインストールしてあるのですが、ML110 G5はWoLで電源を入れられるけど、ML115 G5はWoLで電源が入らないんだよなぁ・・・

さて、約２ヶ月ぶりに電源を入れたわけでして、FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASEも出たことなので、まずはfreebsd-updateを実行。
あっけないくらいに簡単ですね。csupしてmake buildworldしたほうが、暖まっていいかもしれませんが。

# freebsd-update -r 8.2-RELEASE upgrade

ここでいったん再起動デス。
# reboot

指示された通り、再起動後、もう１回実行。
# freebsd-update install

２回目の再起動デス。

はい、これで8.2-RELEASEへのアップデートは完了。

8.2がリリースされたあと、portsもたくさん更新されていたので、portupgradeします。
これで暖まるなぁ。

ところで、portmasterの使い方を覚えたいなぁ。
今ひとつよくわかってない。portupgradeとオプションが似てるようで、けっこう違うし。
